Jubilate Brass has been an established professional brass ensemble for over 25 years. They are the resident brass ensemble at Canterbury Cathedral providing ceremonial music for many services and special occasions throughout the year which often include radio and television broadcasts.
Jubilate Brass Quintet is comprised of soloists from the larger ceremonial ensemble. The Quintet enjoys a variety of performances throughout the year which include special ceremonies at smaller venues and music club recitals which have taken them all around the UK and Europe including The Queen Elizabeth Hall and St David's Festival.
All of the players in JB are London based professional players having performed with the BBC Orchestra, English National Ballet, London Sinfonietta, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Wallace Collection and are graduates of both the Royal Academy of Music and Royal College of Music in London.
David Clack is the Artistic Director of Jubilate Brass. David has freelanced with all the major London symphony orchestras and held the position of principal horn of the BBC Welsh Symphony Orchestra. He is an experienced chamber musician having given numerous performances and broadcasts with ensembles including the London Mozart Players and Magini String Quartet.
David is currently Head of Brass and Outreach Music at Tonbridge School and is committed to taking music to the community and into schools with his variety of of energetic and entertaining shows.
David is an experienced conductor and teacher and is director of the Dynamic Music courses which have been established for over 25 years. His expertise in this field has enabled the education branch of Jubilate Brass to develop having led to the group giving master classes and community concerts all across the country.
